A group of concerned parents of children with autism spectrum disorder decided to strive for a solution to “What After Us?” Their humble initiative resulted in formation of Approach Autism Society in Sep 2011; which got duly registered under The Society Act. Since inception, our journey has been very fast paced despite some hiccups here and there and delays. Resourceful parents and honourable members of the society have supported us with their valuable views, guidance, and contributions in form of rendering selfless services, making donations in cash and kind.
A mother's journey with Approach Autism. Saksham growing as matured adult. Saksham's mother giving her testimony. She explains how her fear regarding Saksham is now vanished. She really enjoys the videos sent in the group and decided to collate and give her voice to the videos. She is daily more relieved than the previous day. Watching the video is now fun and at the same time sense of pride.
Our children don’t need any one’s sympathy rather they need training for their livelihood. There is need of vocational set up as per skills and talent of person with autism. Sri D. S. Bhandari (Vice President of Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce) during inauguration speech on Jan 28th 2012.
